How might we strengthen civil society to prevent social exhaustion? Afat, Błażej, Dominika, Elda, and Richard looked at what happens after the protest - when the energy fades and the momentum slows.
Their scenario focused on protest movements in the Western Balkans, Belarus, and Georgia - movements that often carry liberal, pro-European values, but risk losing steam without long-term support.The team proposed a digital platform designed to connect and empower civic actors who can’t rely on their own governments. The platform would provide advisory support, secure channels for communication, and even direct financial aid.
Aware of the risks, the group also flagged data privacy and trust as key concerns - ones that future development must address to truly serve and strengthen civil society.
