Besides lectures, there is also training and coaching in working groups part of the VSS educational programme. This year, the participants could choose between the following three laboratories: Academia, Business and Culture.

Creative Integration

In the afternoon, an integration workshop took place on the large terrace of the Villa Decius. The heads of this workshop were the project manager of the Villa Decius Association Anna Kowalska, the career coach Olga Maksymenko and the director of the Malopolska Institute of Culture Joanna Orlik. In Europe we still trust – inaugural lecture

This year's inaugural lecture was held by Borys Tarasyuk, deputy chairman of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary. As a starting point, he reminded the audience of the fact that today, the July 4^th 2016, marks the 240^th anniversary of the Day of Independence of the United States of America.
